AGNs, Co-evolution of galaxies and supermassive black holes

My research interest is on the co-evolution between galaxies and supermassive black holes. For studying this topic, I am joining in some wide-field surveys to construct new samples of various AGN populations. I also investigate detailed properties of AGNs through spectroscopic diagnostics.

Galaxy formation and evolution, infrared galaxies, starbursts, blackholes

I am interested in galaxies, especially in those that are luminous in the infrared. I have been chasing infrared luminous galaxies from the nearby to the distant Universe.

Formation and evolution of galaxies and their super massive black holes, Tomography adaptive optics system

galaxy formation and evolution, super massive black hole formation and growth, adaptive optics, tomography

Conducting research on cosmological evolution of galaxies and super massive black holes at their center using multiwavelength datasets. Developing a laser tomography adaptive optics system for the Subaru telescope, and the system will soon realize high spatial resolution observations in the visible wavelength.

Galaxy formation, Cosmic reionization, Early epoch of the universe, Observational cosmology

I am conducting research on the formation and evolution of galaxies from the early universe to the present using large telescopes such as the Subaru Telescope, the ALMA, and the James Webb Space Telescope. I am also involved in observational cosmology studies, including Big Bang nucleosynthesis and cosmological parameters.

Supernovae, Expansion of the Universe, Transients, Variable Objects, Instrumentation

I am studying the origin of supernovae, particularly type-Ia supernovae, which are used to measure the expansion of the universe. I am also studying other transients and variable objects in high time resolution, using CMOS sensors.
